Fun and Fast: The Tool of Writing

May 26, 2026

Sometimes I end up on Lonely Lane, and by the time I realize I’m headed for the derelict building at the end of the lane, I am already halfway there. Then my Higher Power nudges my toes in a turn-around direction, reminding me I can take advantage of a meeting online to get airlifted out of that desolate neighborhood. What a magical world I live in, with OA to my rescue whenever I go astray!

-This is from a writing exercise I participated in with a Virtual Region event. Whereas I usually look at writing exercises as a chore, I found this to be a fun and fast writing exercise, and a good reminder of the Tools at hand.
