Spiritual Principles of the CONCEPTS

The Concepts are given to us to help us apply the Steps and Traditions in our service work, which is an important part of the OA program. The Concepts define and guide the practices of the service structures that conduct the business of OA. In following the Concepts in our groups we in turn get to practice our Traditions and Steps and the Spiritual Principles become a part of us.

Each Concept has a Spiritual Principle associated with it.

Unity, Conscience, Trust, Equality, Consideration, Responsibility, Balance, Delegation, Ability, Clarity Humility, Guidelines in Selflessness, Realism, Representation, Dialogue, Compassion and Respect..

Below you will find Experience, Strength and Hope (ESH) that members have submitted about these Principles.
