To Eat or Not to Eat

Food was the center of my thoughts, day in and day out. It didn’t matter if I was binging or restricting, I was completely obsessed with my food, my weight, how I looked… As if that would be the answer to all my problems.

The miracle of this program has unfolded in my life! No longer does the obsession with food control my every thought. Rather, I have lost interest entirely in compulsive behaviors! When I do experience an issue, I have a solution for it. I have a program that I can rely upon. Tools that will help me through a crisis, and a Higher Power who will hold me dearly, and guide me through.

I am so grateful that I can now see the madness of reverting back to my compulsive eating habits, and have means to safeguard against it, one day at a time. I am willing to ride the waves of passing moments of insane behavior, and the discomfort I might feel, knowing that this shall pass. I have found a willingness to go to any lengths to maintain my abstinence, and to allow my Higher Power to guide me.
