Self Love Prayer

Higher Power, as I understand You,
We stand here in your presence
Seeking love and acceptance.
Help us to see ourselves
As You see us,
As Your beautiful and unique creation,

Worthy of love and respect.
As you love us without judgement,
Remind us that when we compare ourselves to others
And all those feelings of inadequacy arise,
That who we are is not dependent on who they are.
Remind me that when we judge ourselves and others
We lose sight of Your love and acceptance.
Strengthen our will to forgive ourselves
If we stray from your light
Release us from the negativity
Our minds can so easily create
So that we can live truly as You see us,
To truly ourselves as we really are.
