This issue concludes our WSBC 2026 Limited Series. This year, nine delegates proudly represented OA Foot Steps at the 2026 World Service Business Conference (WSBC). Before the conference and during the conference, our delegates were entrusted with the responses gathered from the OA Foot Steps Virtual Intergroup questionnaire, which invited members to share their perspectives on the motions before the Conference. The delegation met several times to thoughtfully review every motion, discuss the comments and feedback received from our Intergroup, and strive for a group conscience that reflected the voices of our fellowship.
They were honored to represent our strong and engaged Intergroup and voted to the best of their ability on its behalf. Following the Conference, each delegate submitted feedback, which was compiled and presented at the May Virtual Intergroup meeting.
As you explore the delegates’ feedback, you’ll find thoughtful reflections on what they learned, what inspired them, and what they hope to bring back to OA Foot Steps.
Delegates shared insights about the power of group conscience, finding their voice, trusting a Higher Power through uncertainty, and witnessing nearly 200 trusted servants working together in recovery.
You’ll also discover exciting projects underway at the World Service level, including a secular daily reader, new accessibility and accommodations literature, updates to the Tools pamphlet, emergency online recovery resources, and efforts to make future WSBC conferences more accessible internationally.
The feedback also highlights the human side of service—the challenges of balancing long days, self-care, and passionate discussions, alongside the joy of making new connections, speaking from the heart, and representing our Intergroup with purpose.
We invite you to read through the delegates’ reflections and learn more about the work being done on behalf of OA as a whole.
