- Do something for myself.
- Do some physical exercise.
- Create a food plan and stick to it the best I am able.
- Report my food plan to my sponsor.
- Do something that takes real thinking.
- Study, and not let my mind be idle.
- Read something that requires mental effort and concentration.
- Take time for reflection and gratitude.
- Live for this day only.
- Not tackle my whole life problems at once.
- Be happy.
- Adjust to what is, rather than adjust everything to my own desires.
- Take my luck as it comes and fit myself to it.
- Exercise my soul.
- Do something for someone else.
- Do somebody a good turn and not get found out.
- Do something I don’t want to do that needs doing.
- Will not show anyone that my feelings are hurt.
- Will be agreeable, talk low.
- Take good care of myself.
- Will look as well as I can, dress becomingly.
- Act courteously.
- Criticize not one bit.
- Not find fault with anything.
- Not try to improve or regulate anybody except myself.
- Have a programme and follow to the best of my ability.
- Save myself from two pests: hurry & indecision.
- Have a quiet half hour all to myself and relax.
- Try to find a better perspective of my life.
- Focus upon an important principle and how to incorporate it into my daily life.
- Take joy in a discomfort, knowing it is a gift of growth and learning.
- Celebrate the successes as they arise.
- Be unafraid, especially unafraid to enjoy what is beautiful.
- Believe that as I give to the world, so the world gives to me.
