Serenity Song

Music Notes with ESH colored hand reaching for them

When I go to a meeting, I never know what I might learn. Remaining teachable is a quality I have honed in OA. Recently, a fellow shared that life has become a cycle for them. Without the food, they get to feel their feelings. In order to deal with the feelings, they need the tools of OA. To have the tools of OA ready and accessible to them, they have to stay connected, go to meetings, and be willing to learn from other fellows. And if they do this, they get to feel their feelings.

Wow. I felt this so strongly. One of my hobbies is writing song lyrics and, with the magic of modern technology, I can now have my words put to music! So here it is, the song inspired by that fellow’s share. My words and video; music and voice courtesy of Suno.

I will also add, that my song writing as a hobby is a direct result of another OA meeting! But I’ll save that story for another edition…
