Prayers from Candice in FL

Beautiful prayers from one of our members

Morning Handover Prayer

I breathe in gentleness. I breathe out shame.
Today, I begin again. Not to prove, but to grow. Not to perfect, but to progress.
I am held. I am healing. I am enough.
I take the world as it is, not as how I would have it.
May I be fully present to what is happening now.
May I be willing to accept what is happening now.
May I fully surrender to what is happening now.

Prayer of Protection

The Light of God surrounds me
The Love of God enfolds me
The Power of God protects me
The Presence of God watches over me
Wherever I am, God is, and all is well!

Prayer for Overeating

Loving Presence, in this moment, I feel tangled. Stomach tight, heart aching. I turned to
food when I needed comfort, and now I feel farther from peace.

But still… you do not turn from me. You meet me here, in the fullness and the shame, not
to scold, but to sit beside me. To remind me I am not broken. I am becoming.

Help me loosen the grip of guilt. Help me listen, not just to cravings, but to the softer
voice beneath them: the one that longs to feel safe, loved, seen.

Teach me to care without punishing. To nourish without fear. To trust that healing is not a
straight line.

And most of all, help me remember that this one choice does not define my worth. I am
still held. I am still loved. I can begin again.

Amen.
