Today I will…

  • Do something for myself.
  • Do some physical exercise.
  • Create a food plan and stick to it the best I am able. 
  • Report my food plan to my sponsor.
  • Do something that takes real thinking.
  • Study, and not let my mind be idle.
  • Read something that requires mental effort and concentration.
  • Take time for reflection and gratitude.
  • Live for this day only.
  • Not tackle my whole life problems at once.
  • Be happy.
  • Adjust to what is, rather than adjust everything to my own desires.
  • Take my luck as it comes and fit myself to it.
  • Exercise my soul.
  • Do something for someone else.
  • Do somebody a good turn and not get found out.
  • Do something I don’t want to do that needs doing.
  • Will not show anyone that my feelings are hurt.
  • Will be agreeable, talk low.
  • Take good care of myself. 
  • Will look as well as I can, dress becomingly.
  • Act courteously.
  • Criticize not one bit.
  • Not find fault with anything.
  • Not try to improve or regulate anybody except myself.
  • Have a programme and follow to the best of my ability.
  • Save myself from two pests: hurry & indecision.
  • Have a quiet half hour all to myself and relax.
  • Try to find a better perspective of my life.
  • Focus upon an important principle and how to incorporate it into my daily life.
  • Take joy in a discomfort, knowing it is a gift of growth and learning.
  • Celebrate the successes as they arise. 
  • Be unafraid, especially unafraid to enjoy what is beautiful.
  • Believe that as I give to the world, so the world gives to me.
